Apa Itu Recount Text?

Recount text juga sering dipakai untuk tugas sekolah, ujian nasional, hingga konteks profesional, misalnya saat kamu diminta menceritakan pengalaman kerja dalam interview.
Struktur Recount Text yang Benar
Agar cerita yang kamu tulis mudah dipahami dan enak dibaca, ada struktur baku yang biasanya diikuti. Struktur ini membantu pembaca mengikuti alur waktu tanpa kebingungan. Berikut adalah tiga bagian utamanya:
- Orientation
Bagian ini adalah pembuka atau pengenalan. Di sini kamu harus menjelaskan siapa tokoh yang terlibat, di mana kejadiannya, dan kapan peristiwa itu terjadi. Orientation berfungsi memberikan konteks dasar kepada pembaca sebelum masuk ke inti cerita.
- Events
Ini adalah isi utama dari cerita kamu. Bagian events menceritakan rangkaian kejadian secara berurutan atau kronologis. Biasanya ditandai dengan kata penghubung seperti first, then, after that, next, dan finally.
- Re-orientation
Ini adalah bagian penutup atau kesimpulan. Isinya sering kali berupa rangkuman kejadian atau perasaan penulis mengenai pengalaman tersebut. Bagian ini bersifat opsional, tapi keberadaannya membuat cerita terasa lebih tuntas dan personal.
